Pay It Forward

Sample Review – The Phoenix Reich

The Author of the novel ‘The Phoenix Reich’ has graciously given me a promotional package with which to share this great new novel with you. Not only have we had a cover reveal and an excerpt from the novel itself, but I’ve also been given a sneak peek into the first three chapters. Here’s my review of what I’ve read of the novel so far. Once I’ve bought it and read the whole thing, I will also post that review for you guys to nosy at 😉

Book – The Phoenix Reich
Author – Joshua Lisec
Star rating – ★★★★★
Would I read it again – Yes
Plot – intriguing, entertaining, full of suspense
Characters – entertaining, varied and relatable
Movie Potential – ★★★★★
Ease of reading – very easy.

Let’s start with the characters – they are great. We’ve got good and bad guys, snipy and rude ones, funny and nice ones. Totally sound package of entertaining, intriguing, and gripping characters for readers to get to know. The plot is well thought out, well developed and highly intriguing.

Personally, I can’t wait to read more. I think the best part about this book is to come. (I have only read the first 3 chapters) I wasn’t able to put it down once I started reading, and although I feel for Max, after a family tragedy, I believe that he’s strong and determined and that he’ll find the answers he’s looking for. I find the detective James really interesting and I’m sure there is more to his story, along with Kensington’s to come later on in the book.

I’ll be buying this book and I suggest that if you love a good whodunit and a great thriller, then you should too. Please, also visit Joshua’s pages, on the previous posts, to keep in touch with this great writing talent.
