Author Resources: Exercise

As a writer, it’s easy to get glued to your seat and type for hours. As someone who is already disabled and able to do very little physical exercise, I know how easy it is to lose track of time and let your muscles get stiff. The recommendation is to take a break every hour or  . Our craft is notorious for causing repetitive strain injury, back problems, stiff muscles, sore necks and headaches from looking at the computer screen too long.

It’s also been proven that as well as the reading and writing we do, for our craft, physical exercise boosts brainpower, so exercising regularly should keep that pesky writer’s block at bay, too.
