Information from: Joe

Nail that interview…

For some people, job interviews are a snip. They’re personable, charming, confident and they know what they’re talking about, or failing this, they have an innate ability to shite talk the interviewer into believing they know what they’re talking about.

But for others, it’s entirely more difficult. It’s an arduous task that requires much preparation to get just right.

You can usually expect the common questions such as: “Tell me about your biggest weakness, and your work history etc…”

But, we often get told that the key to acing a job interview is to research, be prepared and be confident, but as we’ve heard before, this isn’t always going to get you the job according to Peter Roper, Google’s head of mobile brand strategy.

You should expect to hear some left field questions. These are to test you and see how you cope with unexpected situations. For a lot of the questions, there’s no right or wrong answer and it’s all about how you react to them.

But for some, there’s logic to the madness of the question. It will be basically asking you a simple question such as, “What is your greatest strength?”, but in a roundabout way.

Here are some of the questions leading businesses around the world could ask you according to Colonial Life. It also outlines what they really mean, and what is the best way to answer them.
