Happy Hogmanay!

Here in Scotland, we have Hogmanay, which is our celebration to bring in the New Year. What everyone else calls New Year’s Eve.

We have a lot of traditions related to Hogmanay, one of them being the MASSIVE street party in Edinburgh, local Ceilidh’s (a party with Scottish dancing), first-footing, and of course, we top it all off by holding hands and singing Auld Lang Syne.

For us, it’ll be a quiet night in with our usual TV schedule – some classic Still Game, Only an Excuse, the Hogmanay Live show, and probably some Jools Holland, if they’re showing it.

Until tomorrow…Happy Hogmanay!
